Poppy the Precocious is a short, illustrated children’s book with beautiful water-color illustrations. It is the story of Poppy, a three-year-old who is wise beyond her years. Poppy ponders what she will be…a painter? a professor? a plumber? For a three-year-old, choosing her future is a weighty dilemma. Luckily, she chooses the very best thing she can be.

Using alliteration and rhyme, Poppy the Precocious takes young readers (and their loved ones) on a journey through rolling moors, to the opera stage, and even to visit the Large Hadron Collider. The simple illustrations invite imaginative engagement and the hand lettering turns the words themselves into art.
