J. Larkin Ellis’ major qualifications as a children’s author mainly center around her once having been a child herself and now being the mother to a child. Most of her major accomplishments are the result of “manic midnight” – the burst of energy that comes right as one is trying to fall asleep. She believes that children and adults alike enjoy a good rhyme, entertaining story, and pretty pictures. She has a passion for words and has been known to unapologetically repeat (or create) “punny” jokes.

J. Larkin Ellis lives in Northern California with her hunky husband, lively baby, and “Rubenesque” cat. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology from Brigham Young University.
